This policy explains what personal data the ShotPlan app and this website handle. ShotPlan is operated by Golfalytics. Contact: support@golfalytics.se.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, so we never see your password in readable form) and your handicap, which you give when you sign up.
- Golf data: your club statistics, logged shots, saved courses and settings. Part of this is stored only on your device; if you are signed in, your bag is also stored in the cloud so it follows you between devices.
- Location: if you tap the GPS button on the course, the app uses your device's location to show your position and to log a shot. The location is used on the device and is saved only as part of shots you choose to log.
- Course requests: if you ask for a course that is not yet available, we store the course name you searched for.
Why we use it
To let you sign in, to run the simulations and plans in the app, to sync your bag between devices, and to add the courses that members ask for. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase – account sign-in and cloud storage of your data.
- Mapbox – map and satellite images, which your device loads directly.
- Open-Meteo – current wind for the hole, requested with the position of the hole.
- OpenStreetMap – course layouts, fetched when you search for a course.
- Resend – sending emails from our systems (for example when a course request reaches us).
- Netlify – hosting of the app and this website.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@golfalytics.se. If you are in the EU/EEA you can also complain to your national data protection authority; in Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
